Completely, weirdly obsessed with hair, and not ashamed to admit it. Half hair geek, half hair snob with just a touch of OCD. Let me tell you I could foil for hours and not blink. I could diffuse for days and be in literal Heaven. Hospitality is another hobby of mine. You will be loved on and adored. Hi. I’m Melissa, the owner and hair genius behind MC Salon and I’m your new hype man.
I’ve spent the last 22 years perfecting my skills to make sure you have a blast while I show you how awesome your hair really is.
I opened MC Salon in 2019 because I had a vision of the perfect guest experience. A combination of professionalism, pampering, laughs, girl power, badassery (it’s a word), love, and of course, your best freaking hair ever! I knew it could be done; so I did it.
Services Offered
Color and Curls. That’s what I do.
MC Salon is home for all your color needs, from color corrections to a color refresh. I’m as confident with my platinum blondes as I am with my low maintenance balayages. If a stylist tells you they can’t, I probably can, And yes babe, everyone lifts warm. But I know how to get you past that and I can even do it while keeping your hair strong and healthy.
It doesn’t matter if you describe your curls with a letter and a number or words, what ‘method’ you follow, or what product line you use. Curly some days or all the days, praying hands or scrunching, diffusing or air drying. This is where you belong.

Next Level
I started MC Salon as a general salon, offering a full menu of different services to appeal to as many people as possible. After two years in business, I realized that the future of my salon was to specialize in services that were not just transformative but exclusive as well.
In 2021 MC Salon became the first salon in the area to specialize in curls and color. Putting all of my focus into these two areas of expertise has allowed me to give my guests an experience unlike any other.
Now that I was happy with the Experience I had created, it was time to focus on a larger more fabulous space. So, in the fall of 2022 MC Salon expanded into Suite 17. The always amazing experience my guests have to come to expect, just in a huge dope ass space.
At MC Salon no curl is too tight, no grey is too stubborn, no one person could ever have too much hair. At MC Salon every hair color and curl pattern is welcome.

Salon Policies
CANCELLATIONS
MC Salon requires 24-hour notice for all canceled appointments. If not within the 24-hour period 50% of the cost of the service originally booked will be required before scheduling another appointment.
NO-SHOWS
If an appointment is missed 100% of the cost of the service originally booked will have to be paid before scheduling another service.
PRODUCT RETURN
Return any gently used product within 30 days of purchase for salon credit.

I’m going to need you to be as in love with your hair as I am. If for any reason you are unhappy with the outcome of your hair, contact me within 7 days of your service. I will do everything I can to keep you fabulous and happy.
